This year, we are launching the ‘What Does It Mean To Live Free’ campaign, an annual campaign centered around freedom, inclusion, advocacy and healing. As we embark on this journey, we are seeking diverse perspectives on the essence of living free. Your voice matters, and we would love to hear from you – whether it's sharing personal stories, reflections, or your vision of freedom. This campaign is a platform for individuals across Illinois to engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering a community that values and celebrates the diverse interpretations of living free.

To contribute to this campaign, here’s what we need you to do:

  1. Record a short video of yourself answering the question, “In your opinion, what does it mean to ‘Live Free?’.
Here are a few quick notes to make the most of your video:

    • To ensure optimal editing, kindly limit your responses to under a minute.

    • If you're recording on your computer, position yourself to the right of the camera, leaving approximately 2 inches from the top of your screen.

    • If recording on your mobile device, use a sideways tripod for stability. Please don't hold your phone handheld, and again, refer to the attached screenshot for proper subject placement.

  2. Once your video is complete, email it to dylan@livefreeillinois.org for editing and sharing!
